Watching Google Videos in Other Countries

1. Make sure you have installed the Macromedia Flash player plugin in your browser. If you are on Firefox, turn off Adblock that sometimes block SWF animations.
2. Open video.google.com and search for the video you want to play.
3. Once you locate the video, click on the video thumbnail to play the video. Since playback is not supported in your country, Google shows you an error message. Ignore that warning and click on the “Put on Site” link
4. You will see a text box just beneath the “Put on Site” link containing some cryptic HTML. Don’t get frightened, copy the HTML code by clicking inside the text area and press Ctrl+C. Then open notepad or any text editor and paste the HTML.
5. Open the Find dialog (Ctrl+F) and type http://video.google
As you click find, you will see a really long URL starting with the above text. Select and copy the entire URL (select everything that’s enclosed in double quotes starting with http://video.googl… and ending with playerMode=embedded)
6. Just paste this URL in your browser address and press enter. The video is now playing inside your browser just as a visitor in US would see it!!!
You can also change the the Video dimensions by clicking on the bottom right corner of the Google Video player
P.S: Actually you can select the long url from the text box in the site itself (i.e. without copy pasting in notepad etc), but since the box is small, and its not searchable, its tricky business.

As a user , I would like to give some of my suggestions for the new forum .
1.The major factor every user is getting attracted to this site is only for the sake online links .If a user wants to watch a movie , First he looks for online links for the movie ,if he could not find online link then he download the file and watch that movie .
Apart from that after downloading the complete movie , if the movie is bundle movie after watching couple of minutes , he feels disappointed in spending time for downloading this movie . So online links plays a major role at this time of situations also.
2.Every user likes Cricket and Music & Video songs.So they should have separate column for all these links
3. The other thing that every forum is missing is some thing like some funny videos around the world . like small funny or joke video clips . This aspect is missing in almost every forum . This puts you more user gets attracted with this column
4. We should have some column,. Where recorded programs such as famous serials or funny programs from the TV channels should be kept .
5.They should have colums for Bollywood / Tollywood Gossips information.
6. Column for Live cricket links , TV channels links etc..
7. Column for Software support .

The lost temples of India clip was excellent. I like the Misc clips posted here. Would like to thank you for hosting the blog and for your keen interest in selecting very informative clips for watching.
I wanted to specially thank you for the ABC news clips which showed India in new light. When I first came to US eight years ago India was in the news for all the wrong reasons – train accidents, boat mishaps, floods earthquakes and communal violence.
For sometime however things have started changing. While Indians have been successful in the US for quite sometime the perceptions of the west about India did not change. The successful people only represented the cream of India and not the real India. With more and more people arriving and succeeding here things started changing.
Anyway I visit this blog daily and always find something to watch. Thanks for that.

The lost temples of India clip is worth watching. But what i found is that the narration is not apt. There are many temples in INDIA that the world should know. May be they are not lost temples but many people dont know about these southern Indian Temples. He concentrated only on Thanjavur temple, and the story is around it. It would be good if they make a documentary around some temples like Kalahasthi, Vijayanagaram, Madhurai and last but not least Tirupati.
And one more thing, at the end of this documentary, he said that southern temples are ignored because of the kamasutra sculptures. I think this is not convincing. They are ignored because of the lack of proper maintainance. After all our India is mainly a Hindu Country, 70% Hindu population, more than 90% politicians are Hindu, the fate of our temples is like this.
GOD give me enough money so that i can rejuvenate the glory of all the temples of India.

I am doing Masters in Public Health at West Virginia University. In WVU for MPH dept the funding is poor. There are many students without funding. The fees is also relatively high. This dept doesnt offer tuition waivers. Financially it is a big burden.
But for engineering it has good funds.

New Delhi: A man tried to set himself on fire during a rally organised by medical students and doctors against the Government’s reservation policy in Delhi on Saturday evening.
Rishi, 23, from East Delhi was immediately rushed to Lok Nayak Jaiprakash hospital after he tried to set himself afire at the Ramlila grounds.
Rishi received 40 per cent burns on the hand and the chest before the police doused the fire.
When asked which college he belonged to, Rishi said, “I am not a student. I am working.” Police said Rishi did his Class XII from Bihar a few years ago and is a gutka seller in Shahdara.
A self immolation attempt was reported from Cuttack, Orissa, but police are still investigating whether it was related to the reservation controversy.
Surendra Mohanty, a PG student of SCB Medical College, took everybody by surprise when he tried to set himself ablaze near a police post inside the hospital.
He was immediately overpowered by onlookers and agitating students, who were about to take out a candlelight procession.
Mohanty did not suffer burns. City DSP Kumarmani Meher said an investigation was in progress to ascertain the motive behind his attempt.
It was yet to be confirmed whether the self-immolation attempt was linked to the anti-reservation agitation, Meher said.
