This is a compilation of some of the videos we have seen. I personally think its somewhat an exageration, but hope that all will happen what they said here
We have talent, brains and almost everybody is getting educated,as its our primary source to become rich. Hard Work doesnt go to dogs, it pays definitely and on average our country(people) is working hard and its time for our country to shine. But there r a lot of drawbacks, hard to mention here. U guys know.
But still i hate these fu(bleeeeeeeeeeeep) british. They took everything from our country and they r eating our shit and they show racism. Everybody robbed us, the whole world robbed us. But good alwys be good. We will get our things back. Its nature. Well, hope for the better India.

the film good though I too find some facts to be overstated. It mainly focussed on the bad things the British did to us. The worst thing about the British rule in India is their Divide and rule policy. Among the various facts, one of the main things this film, missed is the Aryan invasion theory which divided the country into Aryans and Dravidians (the present evidence points to the fact that there is no such thing-but ofcourse the debate is still goingon on this). I felt this should have been mentioned.

Regarding Aryan Invasion Theory, a conference took place recently in Massachussets. Here is the press release of this event. http://www.umassd.edu/indic/press/origin_pr.cfm

The article is totally far fetched and Ignorant. Please correct your facts.
If you want to start the history of India start it with the rule of
Guptas that unified the whole India, pakistan and afghanistan into an empire, start it with the muslim invasions or atleast start it with the inspiring story of true son of India – Shivaji.
Start by correcting the false western interpretaions of alexander’s experiences in India or how University of Taxila and university of Nalanda were sacked by muslim invaders.
how 60000 unarmed priests were massacred by barbarians at Somasila. Write how Prudviraj Chowhan was betrayed by a lawless barbarian who is not worthy of being given a second chance.
Write how the womanizing plunderers are portrayed as heros in our school books in the name of history.
British east India company did not bring doom to prosperous India.
It brought India out of monarchial form of government by muslim invaders.
It was imperial form of government but atleast there was common law for all commoners irrespective of
religion or caste. It never forced religious conversions or imposed taxes based on religion like the muslim rulers did before british invasion.
The british did not destroy temples of India. The muslim rulers did.
The british discovered many Indian temples that were forgotten. They even brought into light the
story of the greatest Indian Emperor – Ashoka who was forgotten for 2000 years by India.
Yeah they did their share of damage to India but destroying temples is not one of them.
They did not discourage sanskit. Sanskrit was never the spoken language of the subcontinent in the last 2000 years. The history is a little hazy before that as it is mixed with mythology.
They did not import drugs to India.
They did not force Indians to chew cows and pigs fat. They underestimated the religious sentiment in India.
They did not manufacture cartridges to force Indians to chew cow and pig fat. They were just ignorant of the
sensitivity of the issue.
The religious hatred and political problems in India are not a result of british rule but the product of our
confused national policy by putting religion above the nation and lack of common civil code.
Sanskrit is not the mother language of India. Sanskript and most of the languages are based on Brahmi script.
Albert Einstein never read Gita. You guys stop claiming these false stuff and humiliate the real facts about India.
Having an employee base in Microsoft, IBM, Xerox is not a matter of Pride. It is a matter
of shame to us that those companies are not owned by anyone in India.
DUMB IDIOTS STOP TRYING TO SPREAD FALSE PRIDE AND DO SOMETHING THAT WILL MAKE INDIA REALLY PROUD.
It feels good to scratch an itch momentarity but remember you are inflicting yourself a bigger wound.
I think british occupation was the best thing to happen to modern India. It is much easier to bring an imperialist government to its senses rather than a religious extremist ruler. Can you imagine Gandhi doing a non co-operation moment against a Mohmud of Ghazni or Ghori??
Or do you think we would have been still better off under the rule of Nizams and Nawabs and Sultans
I am not a muslim hater. I am just a firm believer that history should be looked at as history. Dont
tamper with the facts to make ourselves look good or to make someone else look bad.

I THINK EVERY INTRUDER HAS THEIR OWN SHARE TO SPOIL INDIA.AND ONE THING I KNOW IS BRITISH THINK THEY R VERY CLEVER BUT MOST OF THEIR COUNTRY IS RUNNED BY MIGRANTS,BECAUSE MOST OF THEIR YOUNG GENERATION CANT BE BOTHERED OF GETTING EDUCATED IN TO HIGHER LEVELS,THEY ARE MOSTLY INTRESTED GETTING DRUNK IN THE WEEKENDS.SO WHAT U EXPECT ABOUT BRITISH IN MORE 100 YEARS WITH OUT MIGRANTS,THEY WILL BE GOOD IN NO WHERE APART FROM CONSUMING ALCOHOL.

Piyadasi, you are correct with most of them. But I don’t accept the British rule was the best thing happened to India.
Yes, it might have bought vast India (earlier it was bits and pieces). But who knows there might be some unification that might have happened in 200 years. Its just a thought. But I refuse to accept that British colonization’s was the best thing happened to India.

I cant agree that british rule (monarch and politician and buisness) has done good in an humanitic way. All the institution they have established were basically to strength the control they had over Empire. How can it be justified that these things were introduced for the well being of the people. Think about the rail system, postal system, law , tax etc…
It was all established to improve their adminstration and we took on with what they left on, we are improving on it with the limited financial resource we have borrowing money from World Bank and other organisation so far. And we had proved to world in 50 years of freedom strengthing our economy and taking advantage of IT revolution, which was denied under british rule when the Industrial Revolution took place. We should be proud of this achievement. It was the christian missionary organisation that provided humanitarian activity in India so that they can increase the spread of christainity. English intelluctual in the field of history, anthropology, theology and other feild came to study our cluture so that they can boast about their finding in their royal halls. We have to greatful to some of these people though they had some selfish motive they did play there part in preserving our history.
There are some misinformation
Sanskirit is mother of some of the Indian language not for all indian language. They did had some influence on the dravidian languages leading to the creation of new language. There is another group of language called Dravidian language.
Dont talk too much about people working for US multi-national. It is an another form of colonisation. Here u r not controlling the country politically but economically. There is no pride in working for US companies because as an individual u r contributing to the strengthing of US economy indirectly and putting the Indian companies out of buisness thereby weaking the Indian economy.

Hey it is wonderful. I 100% accept the response given by Prashanth and the “anonymous”(whose comments followed immediately of Prashanth’s) tp Piyadasi. They just expressed what I felt from the bottom of my heart.
Jai Hind….India is going to prove more and will be a real one single “Bharat Varsha” down the road.

I think that the indians who are working for international companies are not weakening the Indian economy. For gods sake, ever since globalization started and overseas business has prospered to India, the economy has grown drastically. Its pointless to fell sentimental or whatever to be working for a non-indian company as long as it is ethical and is not hurting or doing bad to the society (which i conciously believe is not happening with the international companies established in India). This is not the age of colonization or kingdoms. I believe no body is a born king or a conqueror. The one who chooses the sincere path to success is the winner and will prove to be a conqueror like all those sucessful business men around the world. I think India has done and is doing a wonderful job at it. Well, british colonization of India had both the pros and cons to it. Lets not be pessimistic about our past..rather learn not to allow such things to happen to our country again..
