I dont think he is a scapegoat. I still remember
his initial comments something like “attacked
because I was from minority base”. He has no idea about the pedestal he was on while holding the Indian captaincy. He is no better than the 2 bit politician so common these days. I wish so many people stop praising him even when we did enjoy his cricketing scores.
He is the worlds the best wrist player i ever seen. Off course bad time he was out of the team with bad politics but he is one of the best batsmen in the world.

True , there haven’t been a captain like him , in Indian cricket , always have been my fav since I first started following cricket, whereas match fixing is concerned, its true, that’s why I don’t watch cricket any more, it disappoints me every time.
