Stolen Oxen Case Drags on for 33 years (Misc.)

“For the past 33 years, Surajnath Yadav, a farmer in the Indian state of Bihar, has been going to the local court as an accused in a case involving the theft of a pair of oxen in his village.”

“Forty-six-year-old Yadav is the only survivor of five villagers accused of stealing a pair of oxen from a house in Nawada Ben village on 19 June 1973. He was 13 years old then. Today, he is the father of four children. The other accused - Ramdeo Yadav, Suresh Yadav, Sabha Yadav and Gopal Singh- are all dead. So are the oxen. So is the investigating officer, Yashwant Singh, the complainant, Ramvriskha Yadav and his son, Vishwanath Yadav.” –Read More

This is the current state of our judiciary system. How could any one go to courts if cases takes decades to solve? Not to mention our broken police system (still relies on 19th century British laws), hereditary politics. Looks like we need a thorough change in our political, judicial, police systems.

I think we all know about the state of our judiciary system, the corrupt politics, and politicians. But every time we see the examples like this, I feel very bad.

I am proud to be india….. Bloody hell.

I’ve seen so many people like this just running behind courts and not getting anything but waste of time and frustration! There should be a revolution in this area!!!!! Police in INDIA are the chepest bastards ( i mean there are a few who are good) they do anything for freaking money and forget their basic responsibilities!
    “Maradu kalam.. maradu lokam”!

hay bharateeyudu - not all police are like that example is my brother whose life is all in credit as he is living in a city. u cant imagine the monthly earnings of a police officer if he is not a bastard. my bro life is all in credit and a month to month basis life. this is not it if u want to do something new the very first hurdle u have is moving the subordinates and convincing the superiors and when u fail to do that over a period of time u stop trying start looking at things as a viewer with no controls in your hands.
Coming to the case mentioned I believe the guy has under gone more than the punishment he has to get if he was convicted.
At every corner of the system there is a huge lag/gap or in other words there should be a movement/initiative taken to revise the system as the one we r following is an age old and many things have changed since then. the question is when? How?
    Who is gona start this.
IT boom has brought money but the best is still awaited. A huge integration should crop which would make any information of the public or private organizations is published/available but unalterable. I think this would narrow down the chances of exploiting the position or power for any individuals cause. This is a bottom up scenario
When there is no extra income at the lower level they cant let the money flow upwards.
Many more….. but when and how still haunts…

    Thanks for reading
I was not trying to be personal by mentioning my bro case. I did that cos I am 100% sure about it.

It is true that the judicial system is not working actively, but who is taking time to make change. Nearly lakhs of people visit this web site but see how many had responded. If everyone thinks like that there is no wonder even if this case runs after the death of Surajnath yadav. So Change should come from the individuals., everyone should come forward on issues like this then may not be today but undeniably some day we will see new India, where cases are solved when accused are alive and police work sincerely.

Let s not only wait for that day but work together for that day.

no hopes on india, the people dont want to change and got used to that sytem.
no hopes for a common man in india. money and political background can help to live happily in india.
we should leran alot of things from chinese, japanese and europeans.
don simply say “proud to be indian”. we are not at all proud to be inidans.

    corruption address:

Revenue offices,Land registrations,Marriage registrations, Vehicle licences, all licencing agencies, see on the side of roads the traffic police who stops the public and how shamelessly they ask for the money and then keep in their pockets,(You will be ashamed of such dirty scenes).

Go to Air ports , then see the customs official , how nastly they try to ask you money , pounds, dollors, like any beggers on the road, then go to toilets in air-port , basterds cleaners will put their hands on their head and ask for money , i may not feel , but if a foreigner see the same , my god so shameful for the country.

Its all my experience, a true experience.

Its as simple as this, no bastards like to be called as bastards, similarly I too dont like to be called as an Indian but alas, I am an indian.

there is no doubt that i am proud as an INDIAN.
what we all need to think is what we r doing for the change of our system. we should vote and select the better candidate by participating in elections. (selecting them is the key for any problem in a democratic country like INDIA). people need tobe literate to understand the things going on around him (judiciary/ corruption/ politics/ economy/… in short whole system in INDIA). Solution for almost every problem is –litracy & adult franchies.
INDIA is getting better day by day in every aspect, let us hope and do atleast little to make BHARAT MAHAN!!!!!

Its really easy to point the system for everything
But we all are equally responsible for these things

We speak a lot on these issues but when it comes on us
we donot want to take the pain

Like We always get two option ,Option one is Legal way of doing things pay the fine amount as per the rule and also ready to take the pain
Second way is just pay some money as bribe and you are out of everything Easy one

We always try to take the shortcuts second one who will take the pain

Main is the attitude that makes the diffrence ,Police department,Govt official or any corrupted official they donot come from another world they are the people of india

So the main thing is the attitude that makes the diffrence

For example in india we never care about the traffic rules but the same person respect all the traffic rules in other countries

And i do not think we can change attitude by forcing any kind of law

It should come from the innerside of every indian

Yes of course, bcos its the freedom he got being an indian citizen. bloody fuckers………
