Happy Republic Day to all the viewers.
Being the biggest secular democratic country in the world with glorious history, it is amazing how India holds its Integrity and is rising as a power in the world. What do you think is holding India together and what makes India extremely Special.
Is it the rich Culture?
Is it the growth?
Is it the Diversity?
Is it the love between billion people?
Is it 17 Major languages?
Is it 800+ distinct dialects?
Is it the dependency on one another?
or
Is it the Love for the country?
Please fell free to use comments section to convey and discuss your opinions.

I am not an Indian, my parents are. They were born and raised there,
Although both left India some good 30/40 years back but they still loves
India, but it’s not something remarkable, it’s their motherland and they grew up there.
But I was born and brought up in Pakistan and now I am living in states.
I don’t love India for IT, I don’t love India for its diversity or culture or anything like that!!
I love it for a bigger reason which is far more difficult and important to achieve for a nation which is very arrogantly declared as “Third world country†by the smart Asses of this world.
I love India for its Perfect Democracy, its Powerful Judicial system which very well proved in several recent examples that no politician, no businessman is above the Law and every culprit will be treated as per the law and last but not the least, the True Freedom of Press and Media.
If I remember correctly, during the Second World War Germans did a lot of bombing on England and it was so bad that one could not even see the clear sky for weeks because of dust and debris and some one asked Winston Churchill what is the future of England and he asked that guy “ Is the Judicial system still working in England ??†and the guy replied Yes! And then Churchill said then no need to worry about the future, its BRIGHT!!!
Keep up the Good work India!! I’ll be visiting Dehli this Nov, see you guys there!!!

India is no doubt great and will be for its great people, their different cultures. With lot of negative forces working collectively to bring down this GREAT NATION OF OURS, it still stands tall. If only we had great visionaries, if only we had no sucking CORRUPT, USELESS, SPINELESS, PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED, MENTALLY CHALLENGED, SELFISH POLITICIANS where would my nation be today my fellow citizens. When will the GOD clean this bacteria.
The only thing which sucks in india are the politics and it is being herded by none other than people like the one who commented “india sux” above in the list. Man/woman I tell you, that you dont have a face to come forward and say this with the head on your shoulders, with a brain in that shell and with a heart. People like you are the EXCRETA OF OUR ENEMIES. India never troubled or gave pain to any country eventhough we bled, bleed even at this moment.
To my fellow citizens, netizens and like minded democratic people I wish you a HAPPY REPUBLIC DAY.

I am an Indian! The thought itself makes me so proud. Hello Mr/Ms, who said “india sux”, dont you ever say that again! It is our nation. Nation is made up of people not of sand or rock. We are responsible for every thing that happens in our country. I request each of my brothers and sisters here to do whatever little favour they can to our great nation and make it the greatest. To hell with those politicians and the corruption in our country. Judge when you vote not based on party, but by the contestant as a whole and then vote. Hoping that everyone would exercise their duties and rights, right. And never ask what the country did for you? Do what the country needs. Our country is nothing but our fellow brethren.
Wishing every Indian a very happy Republic day!

Hello and Namaste to everyone,
HAPPY REPUBLIC DAY ! AND MY WARM WISHES & LOVE FOR ALL OF YOU.
I am an Indian studying in UK. It is very interesting to read all the views and also makes one feel very proud of being an INDIAN.
When I meet old British and Scottish people in UK, I realise how much deep respect they have for INDIA and INDIANS. how much they value our culture.
Ask every scientist, every engineer, every politician, every humanist, every educationist, every religious or spiritual leader in the world how much value has INDIA added to today’s world.
Ours is the nation which has sacrificed so many great patriots to attain the independence, after being almost completely looted by the British, of all its resources, and inspite of having gone through such a political, civil, economic crisis after the independence, we are now standing proud infront of the world, challenging the super powers.
But, I feel and believe that THE MAIN REASON FOR SUCCESS OF INDIA IS BEEN ITS TRUE NATURE OF HAVING A RICH CULTURE, TRUE VALUES, GOOD HUMAN NATURE, INTEGRITY, SPIRITUALITY, OUR VEDAS, OUR INSPIRING LEADERS.
and one needs to agree that where there is truth, there will be SUCCESS.
We have always been patient, good to everyone including those who are not good to us.
After all, ours is the nation which after having been tortured by the British for so many years, still attained the independence through NON-VIOLENCE, barring some minor violent acts done.
Some may think that, we shouldn’t have been so patient, and should have revolted and attained independence through violence.
But, thats our true nature to be peaceful, good and be in harmony, wherever we are, wherever we go.
Remember, INDIA is the motherland of the world from the begining of time and the world cycle. And a mother will have LOVE towards all its children.
It is just sad these days, that in a country having such a rich culture and values, some sad things are happening recently.
But, one doesn’t need to worry. Things will change soon. INDIA will become the no.1 again, as it was before, we all will live in harmony, peace, and joy.
To all INDIANS,
Please accept my sincere request, Spread the love, peace and joy all accross the world. Let those powerful vibrations resuting from our love, reach those who need it desperately.
My warm wishes and love for everyone,
Sree..

Hi,
I wish you all a very happy republic day.
India is soverign, Secular, Socialist Republic and will remain so forever. The Foundation pilars are laid with great sacrifices from the freedom martyrs from this great nation.
India was, is, will be a great nation forever. As an Indian I am proud of its culture, hertiage, spirtuiality. The Economic reforms Started by PV Narshima Rao government and later carried on further sucessfully by other governements as made a point to the world that though it is old its people are very young, dynamic and has a self determination to carry on the process without any hurdels.
Thanks to this great country which has given me everything. God is in India. Yes he is in India.
Bye all

There is a famous phrase “E Pluribus Unum”, which means “Many uniting into One”. With so many dialects and cultures and multiple religions, we emerge as one great nation.
P.S. That person who said “India Sux”, dont say it hiding behind a proxy name, say it to an Indian on their face and then you’ll know who sux. Don’t do that again!

HI All Patriotic Indians
I should appreciate zeeshan for his bold honest comments. I know some of the Pakistani colleagues to whom I interacted frequently. Every one of them loves India. They are BIG fans of Bolly wood and wish to travel to India once in their life time. I want show that people of rival countries do not have problem with them. They are fine with each other, but still India and Pakistan are rival countries in front of Media, Politicians and to MR Uncle SAM. I feel Patriotism is more dangerous to Human lives than deadly diseases like HIV/Cancer. Nothing is greater than a human live. If you kill a person you are criminal, but if you do same thing in the name of patriotism then you are a patriotic hero. I am a true Indian I beleive, but I don’t wish India should become super power or No #1. Trash the number game, to reach that position you have to kill so many people and you have to sacrifice so many Indian lives.
Judicial system is a back bone to a democratic country. But recently I read a news that Sr. Lawyers do not want to become judges as they will loose their high incomes. Its not reachable to common man in India. Unimaginable delays in solving the case.
Freedom of speach makes india true democratic country, so leave the guy/gal who said ’sux’. You should prepare for good and bad comments.
finally, I couldn’t resist from loughing by seeing first comment given by SAIRAMMOHAN. Indians are software labourers, you can’t own a building constructed by you as a labourer.

Hi,
I am really delighted the insights of different people on this topic. This post is intended for the people who replied to the sux post……
India is India because of Indians and we are noted for our tolerance and compassion. Every person on this earth has a right to express his opinion and there is no point in reciprocating it. We have to tolerate it. We should just laugh at their ignorance. I believe thats what an Indian should do. You are degrading the quality of an Indian by giving reply to those kind of posts.
