I didnt find anything wrong with the law as long as it doesnt create problems to innocent men. I always feel women are to be given equal rights in every sense. So if women think that this law does something good to them, everyone should welcome it. As thapar said, sometime this law could become lethal weapon to women with bad intensions against innocent husband and in-laws. Interesting thing in this video is look at the facial expresions of renuka choudary while giving interview..dont u think she was acting like a bitch!!!. I dont know whether she is doing that intentionally or unknowingly, but its really sad to see a senior politician acting like this on television. It clearly signifies what kind of person she is, and what she has done to come to that level in politics. This observation might not be a big thing for many of you, but i examine things to minute level. someone said “ur face is mirror of ur heart”, i dont know how best this fits with this lady !!!!!!
Hey
Considering all pro’s and con’s of the Domestic Violation Act, and the back up given by the law maker it appears to be so immature draft. I wonder wht the other 529 of her bench mates in the parliament doing.
To an issue regarding separated wife/partner have the right to residence from the male counterpart even after 10 years. Is this fare?
empowering wife in a stable/equal family is a lethal weapon to indian family/marriage system.
Don’t u see the western culture struggling to make a family with such laws in action.
These politicians are good for nothing …Why not atleast shop around the world parliaments and legal bodies to model for india … and save some time and money of tax payers
In present scenarion of increasing number of enlightened women across the country, most of the women are well off in a position to abuse the law, if they have to.
Morality and ethical code of conduct lessons must be given to women before informing rights and powers like this….
okay ..others share ur thoughts
sorry if i offended someone
its a fair law,but every law has its pros and cons.
thapper repeatedly quastioned about amendment of law
may he be scared of somthing in it? we have amended constitution several times, law also will be changed in future according to needs of both men & women.
we have to change ur veiws regarding women, who are fighting for good cause.
dont search for minute things,as long as she fights for the people.
karan you have to change your style of inteviewing..give chance to others to tell their openions dont interrupt..your point in the whole interview is on innocent men… wht about the innocent women who are tormented badly, absued by their own fathers..women who are suffering not knowing where to go to get justice???????????
If some law is supporting women why making such a big fuss of it..im sure even inspite of 1000 such laws also u find women being treated badly..the ratio of women misuing the law would be less the ration of women who are absued & looking for directions to get proper justice..
Every one says women are to be respected..but how many actually does?????
Cheers Karan…. Thumbs down to Renuka…. He knows what he is talking about, she doesnt….the only answer she has for everything is “may be”…. she never lived in a household where they misused this law…. I have experienced it in my home where women misused the law to arrest my family…. i know it is fair enough to bring laws that protect women but at the same time that does not give them a free way to do whatever they want….
I think this law is more towards urban women because it contains words like “divorced wife” and “ex-girl friend(to my surprsie)” will enjoy a place in the household…. I can agree with ex-wife but why ex-girl friend…. Does anybody know what is it going to cause???? Girls with money dreams would go about with a rich guy then dump him and then ask for a share of his property even without marrying him….
Try to bring laws what normal women actually need…. there are courts, human rights activists, women’s organizations to take care of them…. there is no need to bring in a law like this….
for renuka choudary, injustice to men is justice to women…. what a bull shit woman is she….
meeru andharu anni moosukoni pani choosukondi
lol, what the fuckin law..after seeing this i doesnt wana marry or have a girlfriend who is indian as they can misuse the law.not only them if any one have any problem with u can give a complaint and getout of withou any problem…she has so much anger on men ,i think renukas husband need protection and she doesnt have any son and have a weird daughter who fights with her inlaws and blame them as renuka does here.wow indian gov is becoming insane now and allowing that laws to pass.now i have to decide and talk to lawyer before marriying and know what happens if there is problem from girl side..fights are obvious in anyones family life
and “HYD GUY” dont think that suppoting to this insane law will not get u into goodbooks of girls dumbo.i think many women will agree with me
and miss SNEHA there are many laws ffor the things u had mentioned..
“wht about the innocent women who are tormented badly, absued by their own fathers..women who are suffering not knowing where to go to get justice???????????”
there are many laws for that already thats what karan meant but this one is making mans life harder as many women or her relatives or guy next door can misuse it as it says if that claim is wrong also they can get out without prob.dont u think ex GF having authority to claim property too is insane..do u think there will not be any problem from girl side anytime..i think renuka was ditched by many bfs before and many male politicians, lol so she added that clause too.i think people who signed her petion and passed must be her EXs and had done justice for her..look at her face man she has so much anger towards men
RC is SEXY!
According to Renuka’s law, it leaves a lot of loop holes which can be misued. It needs to be more sensible!
Making the law as stringent as this one would make no difference between Western country and india. We all know how these things go along in western side, lol.
Do anyone want that to be seen in india !!
I accept karan sir was a bit aggresive in his usual style, but the latent and knowledegable fact is that this law is too baised to a gender. Alright, even a layman would say these words naive words “Equality to women, freedom for women in society, workplace etc..”. These are good to hear. But, how feasible are those ??? You are talking abt a country here and not a village or a street problem. More-over dont you see in india, women do get a fair chance to flourish in society, in workplaces etc.. its getting better !
All I would say is that things need to be speculated very meticulously in these sort of sensitive matters. However, our politics and government are dumb enough to pass these sort of laws without seeing the volume of its target audience and its feasability.
As a matter of fact,my apologies if i have been a bit aggressive. But it all boils down to common sense yaar!.. Think abt it.
This law has lot of loop holes, which can be misused by few Coporate womans, who has need lot of freedom to have affair with multiple people.Renuka want to be westren culture, she does n’t even know our indian culture. When she was in TD while NTR was CM ,She had slept with him as well as some of colleague politicians also. She doesn’t have character and never respect her husban, which means never respect other persons.Even her daughters haven’t have character also and her daughter has given divices to her husband ,bcoz she had affair with other man.According to the bove points, she need some portion of shares from NTR ,fellow Colleague politicains and some more people as well her daughters also. She prepared law for her own purpose. She is no one corporate bitch the way of her interview with karan.
wht the hell patriot,do u know wht u r saying? atleast be little sensible…i think by this law u r in much trouble…maybe u r scared of something…mind u no such things will be tolerated…why dont u mind ur own business if u dont have to listen to it…
u have no right to point on anyone’s character…first see wht character u have….
stupid fellow…have u see wht she has done..
just shut up!!!!!!!
i think she’s got too much fat down there ….
Thank you for posting this important IBNLive interview. It clearly shows that Renuka Chaudary is articulate, intelligent and a strong advocate for those who are suffering. Ms. Chaudary has the courage to speak the truth about women and domestic violence in India today and for that she must be applauded. This crime against women should be discussed more freely and more often. It is an issue that is important to men as well as women. Men who are raised in the proper manner know that the issue of domestic violence is one that should be discussed and corrected. I feel confident that good men in the society of India will help improve these current conditions that cause suffering. Discussion is the beginning and should not upset or frighten men (some who have left comments here). Proper education on the facts of this issue are vital to all men and all women. May all women and men work together to solve these problems without argument. Let us create a better world where men and women live without suffering. My hat is off to you for showing this piece. Thank you for your good coverage.
