Hey guys, I can’t guarantee you a cup, but I can assure the entire India, we will get rid of and lose interest in this game, just as most of all forgotten the jobs in Pulic sector.

So, let the reservations in and let Cricket have it’s natural death in India.

Before my answer here is an analysis from someone who does not know much about cricket but has common sense

1. India is the largest population in the world (say a billion people)….. we can’t find 11 good players
2. Politicians should stick their a$$es in politics not in sports
3. Patriotism should not be just for the fans but for the selectors as well

My answer to India’s dysmal performance and a chance in the future. Put all the bull $hit aside and pick a good team. Stop picking select few from regions. If there are 11 best players in Mumbai region pick them all, if there are 11 in south india pick them all.

Pick a good team not a team that equally represents all zones, at least for the world cup. Us fans would cheer for any team even if there are no on that represent our region. We would all be happy if India wins not because some player from my region made a 100.

I agree with what u said, yeh Gavaskar aur kapildev kyu baat kar raha hai. they do not deserve to say a word about cricket. It is these xxxxxxxx who spoiled the ethics.
they were all out for 71 against srilanka in 1986-87 and now they say

Money is wasted on them..they are suited for ads and modeling..etc etc

None of them actually came begging at our doorstep for this. It is we who chose to invest in them, and like all business ventures, there is degree of risk involved.

If we are truly patriotic, we should raise our voice when the money is being spent…not after…

All those people who went on mad rallies (performing the last rites of the team…what the hell were they thinking)
How many would allow their children to go for cricket as their career?
How many would perform the last rites of their kids just because they failed their board exams?

Is this the example we are setting for our kids?

Everyone says
Sachin should go…maybe he should…but not because he did not score in this world cup…not with the accusation that he is not dedicated…this is the same man who returned from his father’s death to continue playing for India in ….today I am sure he looks back and feels sorry for being an idiot and sacrificing his life for a game and a country which cannot be on his side when he is down.

How many of us can handle the pressure of walking into
a field carrying the burden and useless hype of 1 billion people.

Let’s not also forget the Bob Woolmer incident. Betting, match fixing, politics, underworld…none of this new to Indian cricket…God alone knows how safe our boys are or even how safe their families are…

Life is not exactly a bed of roses for our team ….as we are making it out to be..
We chose to put them in place of God when they were winning and treated them like shit when they lost…they have never altered in their role…they played then and they play now….it is we who keep varying our behavior…

One request to at least the youngsters of this nation…Cricket is just a game…you win some…you lose some….lets not paint a superhuman picture of our cricketers and set impossible expectations from them…lets first all of us be professional in our behavior and then correct our expectations. Lets set an example of being a sensible, educated, a well
