The Brahmos Supersonic Cruise Missile (Misc.)

The BrahMos is a supersonic cruise missile that can be launched from submarines, ships, aircraft or land. It is a joint venture between India’s Defense Research and Development Organization and Russia’s NPO Mashinostroeyenia who have together formed the Brahmos Corp.

BrahMos is currently one of the few supersonic cruise missiles in the world and at speeds of 2.5 to 2.8 Mach is about 3 times faster than the subsonic cruise missile, BGM-109_Tomahawk.

the best weapon we have and we dint even develop it… man we need have our own projects not out-source it…. that is a lot of money that is leaving the Indian economy….
