I hope he gets the compensation he deserves. –JIMBO of Vic
So if the charges are withdrawn why is he being deported? shouldn’t those grounds also be reassessed? Land of the fair go indeed!

I think its racist and utterly disgraceful that Haneef’s visa was canceled by kevin andrews! Kevin.. shame shame shame. –Sydboy of Turramurra
There has been a huge support for Dr. Haneef from Australian people. Now the big question is will he be deported? If so on what grounds? Will it be fair?

i really feel sorry 4 him, poor guy
he shud get compensation 4 that
how can you arrest someone without having enough evidence…. haven’t they heard of innocent till proven guilty…. They should surely compensate the guy for the countries stupidity (the emotional stress, the credibility he lost, etc) and he should be given the visa whether he wants to live amongst the fools or not is a choice that should be left toe Haneef.
These people will never get it. They think they are superior of all and can control innocent people. He and his family suffered so much, his wife delivered a baby girl just recently can you imagine the trauma she had to go through at this stage. I am glad he is innocent and hope justice prevails. They all OWE him and his family apology for the trauma they caused them. His BABY GIRL sure brought luck to him.
God luck to them.
