   The people voicing their views may not be telling the truth as they are facing the camera. I can strongly support my statement as I have been a witness to people(Muslims) not only in Charminar, but else where also celebrating when India loses the match against Pakistan.

   Even assuming that many muslims support pakistan in cricket, theres nothing wrong in it. Cricket is just a sport and its only natural that we tend to support the team we think is better. I support Pakistan several times, sometimes even against India, especially when Dravid gets into wall mode which can leave many viewers waiting for the ads to get some excitement.

   Cricket is a sport and we r all free to support the team of our choice, India, Pakistan, bangladesh or bermuda. Patriotism is a different things and there are much better avenues to show it off.

   Honestly I don’t think a generalization would work in this case. Especially considering the fact that several muslims feel patriotic towards India and several don’t. I think it depends on the individual.

   If pak is a better team, australians r the best , ll u support em? why pakistan, even southafrica, srilanka is a better team, now a days India is a better team than pak.
   I like Imran, akram because they are good at the sport, it doesnt mean i support pakisthan team, i support indian team as it represents me ,my fellows, my town,district state,entire people of my country.
   Pakisthan is the source of terrorism which is affecting our lives, i feel how foolish is that any Indian can support pak team and still say i am a patriot,

   I am not sure who allowed this bitch to even do this video and what is she trying to achieve. If anyone has really played any level of professional game and is a true sportsmen or women irrespective of the nation you first tend to analyse and think the best team that day will win.

   The problem with 99% of the people of both the nation is that they are not real sportsmen meaning they would have never played the game professionally to think like professionals and broadmindly.

   The biggest example is this lady (bitch) doing this sort of videos.

   NIGHI, please be responsible. I do not deny that theres varied interests on either side, but all you are doing is igniting a spark. People when pushed to limits react differently and its easy to take advantage of them. This is what politics is doing to India. Remember we are a democracy and would like it that way only.
   Bottom line: We are the human race, then Indians and we will coexist.

    Videos like this are really ruining the relationship amongst INDIANS. What she wanted to convey ? Its unfortunate that it is posted here. I strongly feel there could be some percentage of Muslims who support Pakistan, Not all Indian Muslims are like that, again videos like this really ruin the relationship and create more suspicion.

    I have to agree with K that this video has absolutely no point and it’s a bit insulting. I am a Hindu and I certainly don’t see anything wrong with a Muslims or even a Hindu or a Christian supporting Pakistan or any other country of their choice. No one seems to blame Christians for supporting England or Canada or Australia for that matter (I don’t really know if they do but following the prejudice against Muslims it seemed a possible argument.) As for the guy in the end who said he supported Canadian cricket team, he was irrelevant as he was not even born in India and how many non- Indians do see really supporting India. I don’t think that this type of prejudice should be encouraged.

    PS: I am sorry if I offended any Christians. I was just using it as an argument.

    Look at this foolish Indians. They are reacted in large number when it is a bloody sport cricket(imported game). Just last 2 generations know about this game. Where are these people when terrorists attacked several places in India? This demonstrate how much they are matured. Raise the issues which impact your existence as society, as culture and as civilization. Don’t talk about bull shit games there are lot of priority issues which are more important than games. Don’t just talk about this. Think how to eradicate them(always rebels and terrorists) from our land.     If a Indian Hindu supports the ‘Pakistani Team’, it won’t be made into such a big issue as opposed to an Indian Muslim who supports or likes ‘one pakistani player’. Suddenly, his r her patriotism is under intense scrutiny!

    Give it a break guys! We are a bunch of Pseudo-secular people! We only use these tools (secularism, democracy etc) when we need them… to show off infront of white-skinned people who are mostly ignorants, otherwise, they are worthless to us.

    i am basically hyderabadi…when i saw this video..i felt bad but its true…
    i saw people enjoying when india loses game…i did my graduation in abids..near to abids there is flower market…if you get in to that shop you will see all pakistani crickters photo graph..no one keeps indian crickers photo graph,…
    even i like wasism akram.shoib aktar….i like pakistani team also..
    but i am indian i like my team…cuz they represents me..
    i donot say all the people are like that…
    but some group of people.they are like…we are muslims..all muslims are their brothers…eventhough they live india…but pakistan is their land….
    india is not their country…they behave like that..

    i do agree with this lady , its a fact and we cant deny that, take a example of those british muslim who did that horrible 7/7 bombing in britain even though they were british , but for them they think that they are muslim first i.e they give more important to their religion than their country and this is happening all over the planet. so the people who r ignoring these fact are dumb , maybe they should listen and read the news of their surrounding rather than abusing this lady who shot this fact video

    Well amit I see your point, but you have to realize that SOME Muslims feel that religion is more important than nationality but it doesn’t mean that ALL Muslims feel that way (I don’t think that’s a bad thing either) . I think it’s ridiculous to generalize that all Muslims feel that way. Just because some feel more religious than patriotic doesn’t necessarily prove that all other Muslims are bad. Well correct if I am wrong but imagine a scenario:
    If Hinduism was spread across the world and there was a another country where Hinduism was a main religion followed by that country and you live in India where its a minority which team would you support if the two countries were playing against each other? It’s almost insulting to ask this question over and over again if you support India. If SOME people feel that their allegiance is towards where their religion is dominant that that does’nt prove that ALL people feel that way! Its insulting to accuse others who don’t feel that way. So whats wrong with the video it’s generalzing everyone and why is it bad is what you should really think about and not what’s right!!!

    The video should not be made public as it could create unnecessary spark amongst the different communities.
    Though the video has communicated that there is no reason that we should discriminate amongst our fellowbeings…muslims,hindu , we stay in the same country and are one.
    The spirit in the old Tabla guy was just astonishing…there is no point in asking the question about the patriotism in muslims …they are indeed patriotic..and those who are not …have made their choice probably a one that I would have ashamed of..

    I am a big fan of Wasim Akram and am hindu.am from hyd ….come on its a sport ..u like what u wanna like.But hey there are some issues in old city.they over do everything .sometimes thats really provocative especially when india loses.dont support indian team it doesnt matter but dont humiliate it.Being in hyd for 30 years i came across many such scenes there.But then next day its pretty normal.one thing i want india law for everyone. please get that act soon…

    i am a hydi muslim in UK and my best friend so far is a hindu telugu speaking guy and i am a urdu speaking guy.
    last 6 years before when we met he was not at all able to speak urdu and i apart from watching some rajendra prasads movie dont even know a single word in telugu.
    i learn telugu becoz its just a language, not a religion, that too my friends language, and he learned urdu.
    if few muslims supports pakistan, whole india stand up against them…have you ever seen a muslim supporting to america? no..
    but rest of india not only support america but ready to kneel down,,but truth is americans give respect to indians not more then toilet tissue paper..
    cricket is just a game played by some rich idiots and leave impact on others life.
    we indians are the best people..believe me we are the best.

    I am a muslim. It is true that some of hyderabadi muslims do support Pakistan. Most of this is because of diffence shown in community. People(some hindus) abuse by saying “emra Turkoda” (those are telugu words), and they repeatedly ask the question whoom do you support? Why dont they think it is obvious we are indians and we support our team. Hindus always doubt muslims in hyderabad(I cant generelize this to other cities). I also faced the same situation many times my classmates use to ask me the same question. When ever they ask this question it always hurted me. I faced many times this kind of abuse in my life. May be it is true that some muslims morally or physically supported the terrorist attacks else where in world, I agree. But everyone is not like that. I never accused all Hindus for Gujarat or Babri incidents etc.. may be I am scared to do so because I belong to minority class in India, I don’t know. All muslims are accused for a mistake done by one or group of muslims may be because muslims are minority. I spoke to some muslims why do you want to support Pakistan? they say hindus never mingle with them. I dont know how far that is true may be this is other way around. No one or very few made an attempt to unite them. By supporting pakistan in cricket they feel comfortable. How can you expect a man to be patriotic when he is/was not considered as he belong to the same country. It is too harsh on any one. I am not supporting their views but just explaining why they do. The only way they will become patriotic is by giving them the same value as other indians have. If you cant do that atleast don’t abuse them. Even after these kind abuses most of the muslims try hard to prove their patriotism, and mingle with all people. I agree very few are like APJ Kalam. Dont accuse them instead talk with them why do they think in that way. If you think he is wrong then help him or educate him to realize the truth, if you cant do that you don’t have the right to accuse him. Avoiding him and blaming all muslims is definitely is not the way.

    We all muslims are ashamed of the people who carry the name of islam and spread violence. Any terror attack is fingered againest muslims because of these people. We live in more terror compared to others because some other guy might point the fingers againest us and say because of these people we are here like this.
    It really hurts if you generelize these things to every muslim in India. Coming to cricket every one should support India either a muslim or Hindu.

    One last thing never ever doubt patriotism of any muslim.

    hi guys..peace out.i am from pakistan.and a muslim.being paki i didnt like one of the comments has been given by and india and it was aout terrorism in pakistan.i beleive that indian muslims shud suppoort india always.in all the games.i love pakistani cricket team.i support my team always.i like india team too but for me thr is not comparison of paki and indian team being paki thats what i fee.and i think that all indian shud feel the same.whether they r hindus or muslim.i know some indian muslims who support indian team.i fight with them about paki team i better and they say that indian team i better then pakitani cricket team.and honetly it make me feel good coz ofcoure i wont like any hindu taying in pakitn and upportin india.that why i think all indian hud support india…but dont hate pakis and pakitan.

    why shud the interviewer ask random muslims on the roads of hyd if they think they made a mistake living in india…or shud they have migrated to pakistan?

    if sum1 asked me that question, i wud have given him/her a tight slap….we are indians first..and only then are we hindus..muslims…etc..

    by asking such questions to normal people..u create more doubts in their minds..’arey..we are indians..so y r pple asking us if we like pakistan more’ is what they think i am sure!

    If u think a stupid little video (which is completely clear by the way) can create religious issues then, you are not fit for anything. Watched a movie lately, go sue them. Watched a liquor ad on TV go sue them too. Watch a dancer? Go sue them too. Whom will u sue and how many will u sue. Do u want a place where no one brings issues outside?

    The video maker wants to raise the issues of Muslims in contemporary India and you got a problem with that??? You might not know the value of an open society. I personally met some Hyderabad’s accusing Muslims this way and this video clear clears this out that those are just accusations. We are a big country, a great country but not the best. We have many things which are worst than many countries. We need to bring them into open and have a meaningful discussion. Not suppress them. A lady from no where took initiative and you don’t want that to happen tooo?

    You got it wrong again. I am no way considering grouping people or a community. Thats bad and thats what I say. I was criticizing the way u look things. If I say “u” I only mean u not entire population. What I was pointing was that you can’t go around and sue everyone which u don’t like. I didn’t find anything offensive in the video rather an immature questions trying for a good cause. The cause is to show that the misconception about some communities supporting other nations is wrong.

    And don’t start topic about racism …… u are moving from suing to racism now? just read the comment I left and let me know what part of it you find as racist? And are u fancy of using foul language if u cannot support your so called accusations & threatenings?

    It doesn’t make any difference even if billion people support a team. Its not going to help anybody. They just have to move their asses on the field, get some runs and take some wickets. Thats all it matters. I guess they dont have time to think about all the fans cheering for them.

    Allah or Lord Ram is not going to rescue anybody on the field.

    Its a personal choice for anybody to support particular team in sports. No one should make a big deal about it.

    If India is going to fight pakistan on battlefield, who do you think all Indian muslims are going to support………..you guessed right……. INDIA.

    I support Roger Federer in tennis, that doesnt mean i hate leander paes…… or i am going to side with Swiss if it attacks India…..Thats foolish thought.

    Journalists have no business to go after people like this as people get hurt who really feel for India.

    All Muslims are Terrorist or Is it All Terrorist are Muslims, well one of the either is true. In Hyderabad especially old city is filled with Pakistani and Bangladeshi terrorist these terrorist take visit visa when ever there is a cricket series and never show up after that and after a few months later terrorist attacks all over India. Poor Muslims are easy target for these Islamic terrorist offering them fake support and money to their families in the name of religion provoking them and training them to kill innocent people. Why these Muslim Imam’s in the holy mosques issue a fatwa against these evil forces so that our army can shoot them like mad dogs. No they will not do that they will only issue fatwa’s to Sania’s panties and mini skirts.
