India pulled off an incredible two-wicket victory relying on the tail-enders to salvage some pride in the seventh and final cricket One-day against Australia here on Wednesday night.
In a low-scoring thriller, India first bundled out Australia for a paltry 193 in 41.3 overs, riding on Murali Kartik’s career-best six for 27 and then staged a dramatic recovery to overhaul the target with four overs to spare and reduce the margin to 4-2 in the series.
The Indians owed their remarkable victory to left-arm spinner Kartik, who produced a mesmerizing spell to derail the Australian batting and then was involved in a cheeky 52-run unbeaten partnership with Zaheer Khan (31 not out) to guide the team home.

I’d say beating australia even in one match in a series is a good achievement, and we did it in two, which is really something. Australians are the worst cricketers on and off the field. They make all kinds of comments on the opponent team and the players, If the opponents do the same, it gives them back burn.It wouldn’t be a bad idea to boycott Australia from the world cricket for their bad behaviour, all the cricket playing countries support this idea happily.
And finally it doesn’t matter how many matches they win, we beat them to death T20WC.

this is bullshit yaar we r happy that india beat australia but is that true? aussi lost we didnt win. now we r happy winning last match so indian team players survive 4 another series(specialy sachin sorav dravid ).
What an unrealistic match.. every wicket was so damn easy for India.. match was not at all a cricket match.. Australians gave them this match as prize of winning the series.. They should be ashamed of themselves.. A T20 world cup winners lost their first series..
I agree, if this match was to be decider, Aussies would have crushed us. It appeared as if aussies were playing for fun, and we-Indians, are soooo fool that we took a victory as it was a huge deal. Aussies are extremely cunning as they used this match, after already have won the series, to make Indian team feel complacent, that they can beat them, easily when they take on tour to Australia, where aussies will be eager to give the same taste as here.
