Telugu actor Rajasekhar received minor injuries on Monday when his car was attacked allegedly by Chiranjeevi?s fans.
The fans were angry over Rajasekhar remarks at Bhimavaram on Sunday that Chiranjeevi lacked political experience and that he would not join the political party if the superstar floats one. The fans demanded an apology from Rajasekhar for his comments.
The attack took place at Panjagutta when Rajasekhar was returning home from Bhimavaram in West Godavari district.
The actor, his wife Jeevita and their two teenaged daughters received minor injuries and the windowpane of the car was smashed in the assault. The family was rushed to a super-speciality hospital soon after the incident.

Politics is not so easy as acting in films. Chiranjeevi might have realized this fact with the Monday’s attack on his fellow film star Rajasekhar and his family.
The comments made by Rajasekhar against Chiranjeevi and the subsequent attack on him and his family by the so-called “fans” of Chiranjeevi – all appeared to be a well-orchestrated plan by the Congress at the blessings of master strategist Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhar Reddy. The assaulters are said to be followers of Congress leader and are never known to have any affiliation to Chiranjeevi fans association, though they claims that they are members of registered Chiru fans association. Rajasekhar and his wife Jeevitha acted well in the whole drama.
As expected, Chiranjeevi feel into the trap. He lost half of his image by coming to the residence of Rajasekhar and apologizing to him for the attack. His visit was followed by the sympathy visits of several Congress leaders including Danam Nagender, P Sudhakar Reddy and others, who vehemently condemned the attack by Chiranjeevi fans. Only Housing Minister Botsa Satyanarayana (a Kapu) appreciated Chiranjeevi for gracefully apologizing to Rajasekhar. Even after that, Rajasekhar continued his efforts to demean Rajasekhar and gain people’s sympathy.
By this time, Chiranjeevi has understood how dirty politics could be. He exposed his timidness and fell in the eyes of the people. That is YSR!!

Hello boss, give me a break, I never said chiru should not enter politics because he do not have experience, everyone starts their carrier as a freshier whatever platform it might be, even RS did not say that he should not enter into politics because he do not have experience (if he does that he would be most foolish b’coz he neither has that).I might not be a big fan of chiru, but i have due respect for him as a person for his social service. He is the person atleast trying to do some good for the people. I did neither talked about RS or his comment in my last post.
The point is how instable the minds of some of you fans are, you can go to the bottom line of hurting someone. The Indian constitution endows to its every citizen a fundamental right called the “freedom of speech”. This means every Indian citizen has freedom to speak his mind. It is unfortunate to see this right is being manipulated in a docile way to vent out frustration on someone who has been blessed with bigger things in life.
Before the attack
You had mentioned in your press conference that Chiranjeevi does not possess any experience in politics and that is the reason why you don’t want to join him.
Yes, you are 100% right? Chiranjeevi does not have any experience in politics so far. My question to you is - what prior political experience did NTR possess when he first announced his entry into Andhra politics 25 years back? None!!! For everything there is a first-time. It is very amusing that you did not think of this before commenting on Chiranjeevi.
After the Attack
After the attack you had mentioned that Chiranjeevi should take the ownership for the attack made by his fans. Let us apply some common-sense. You comment on someone and the next day you are attacked - who gets blamed? It is possible that the assailants could have been opportunists who may have attacked you to malign Chiranjeevi and his fans from a circumstantial evidence perspective. It is also possible that they were indeed some hardcore fans of Chiranjeevi who could not bear someone commenting on their favourite hero.
In any event, Chiranjeevi was magnanimous in promptly reaching your place, apologizing, comforting your family and taking accountability for the entire fiasco. He also condemned the attacks and admonished the miscreants.
During one of your media outbursts, you mentioned that Chiranjeevi should control his fans. Kindly suggest to Chiranjeevi how he can control millions and millions of his fans who treat him next to god and their parents? Recently some of your fans burnt the effigies of Chiranjeevi. Will you take accountability and apologize to Chiranjeevi and his fans for the incident?
I totally agree that the attack on you and your family is unfair; but your behaviour after Chiranjeevi has conscientiously apologized is portraying you as a person who is trying to garner sympathy and get even with Chiranjeevi for some past professional defeats you endured in his hands.
