The Eigth Nizam of Hyderabad - A Story of Riches to Rags (Documentary)

Rare color film of the coronation of His Exalted Highness the Eighth Nizam of Hyderabad in 1967. Hyderabad had been India’s largest princely kingdom prior to Indian Independence. The Nizam was its ruler and in the mid 20th century he is Time Magazine’s World’s Richest man. This film follows the trail of the 8th Nizam (Mukarram Jah) all the way to Australia, where he sought an escape from his royal duties.
