Telugu Desam Party’s star election campaigner NTR Jr was rendered temporarily out of action as he sustained injuries in a road accident in the early hours of Friday while on his way back to the city from Khammam after addressing a public meeting.
Doctors at Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) in Secunderabad where he was admitted said he would require two weeks to completely recover from the injuries. In effect, the third generation star of the Nandamuri clan will be out of the TDP’s campaign which he has aggressively conducted for two weeks with a clever mix of words and histrionics.
