Canadian prime minister Stephen Harper visited Mumbai on November 16 to formally invite Akshay Kumar to take part in the torch rally of the winter Olympics – which will be held from February 12 to 28 next year in Vancouver.
Only 15 International celebrities have been invited to Canada to participate in carrying the Olympic Torch, Ontario has been identified as a province to have only one global celebrity represent the world and that celebrity is Akshay Kumar.
